Natalie Portman optioned the legal rights to Amos Oz’s bestselling memoir An Account of affection and Darkness greater than eight years back. The Israeli-born actress apparently met using the author before adapting the script herself. The film, written, directed, and starring Portman, will get a trailer (above).
Shot by master Polish DP Slawomir Idzia, the Hebrew-language film informs the storyline of the troubled youthful mother, Fania Oz (Portman), as she boosts young Amos (Amir Tessler) throughout the rough beginning from the condition of Israel.
Focus World will release the video, which premiered at Cannes this past year, in theaters on August 19.
