Place the cubed potatoes in a large pot of salted water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes. Drain and let them cool.
Whisk together mayonnaise, yogurt, curry powder, turmeric, cumin, paprika, lemon juice, and honey in a large mixing bowl—season with salt and pepper.
Add the cooled potatoes to the dressing and gently mix until the potatoes are well coated.
If using, stir in the red onion, cilantro, raisins, and chopped eggs.
Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour for the flavors to meld together.
Before serving, gently stir stir thrust the seasoning if necessary.
