  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 fillets salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 lb asparagus trimmed
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce use tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment or a silicone mat.
  2. Pat salmon dry, then drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Place salmon on the pan, skin side down. Arrange asparagus around the fish.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard.
  5. Pour the glaze over the salmon and asparagus, ensuring even coverage.
  6. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until salmon reaches 145°F (63°C) and asparagus is tender.
  7. Let rest 2 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes or microwave on high for 2 minutes. Serve with quinoa or rice.
